“It was an open competition for 9-16 year old children and took place in a pool close to Bucharest. 365 participants from 25 clubs in Romania and Bulgaria”, said an ASEE Romania`s official. “National champions and recordmen participated and this makes competition a national level one”.

Spionsorship is part of Asseco SEE`s CSR`s (Corporate Social Reponsability) strategy. Basic ideea is to integrate a strong company, like ours, in society, helping segments which need support, like sports for children. Asseco SEE Swimming Cup was like a national championship, best performers in country participated.

Raiffeisen Bank in Serbia selected Asseco SEE for EFT POS outsourcing services

Raiffeisen banka a.d., Beograd, part of Raiffeisen Group, has selected Asseco South Eastern Europe as provider of EFT POS outsourcing services. Five years services contract is expected to be signed in following weeks. Bank plans to build card acquiring network in Serbia with assistance of Asseco SEE’s specialized unit for Card Business.

Banks can benefit from this Asseco SEE’s POS renting model since it does not require investments and provides lower operating costs. This model also brings lower risk (for the period of POS renting, ASEE is responsible for providing all required VISA and MC standards), more time to focus on core business instead of running network, faster time to the market, eliminating the need to coordinate activities with multiple vendors and providing possibilities for new services (NFC, loyalty, installment...etc.).

New Internet banking at Findomestic Banka a.d. Beograd

Asseco SEE in Serbia, one of the leading IT companies for software development in South-East Europe, and Findomestic Banka a.d. Beograd, a member of BNP Paribas Group, have concluded an agreement on implementation of iBank – a range of software products for Internet banking.

Asseco SEE’s ASEBA iBank products represent software solutions enabling Internet banking for corporate users (OfficeBanking) and for retail customers (Web2.0).

By implementation of these solutions, Findomestic Banka’s corporate users will be provided with enhanced OfficeBanking solution for electronic transactions, which, in addition to standard operations of payment, disbursement, money transfer, balance overview, also offers additional functionalities, such as online certificate renewal, different hierarchical signing levels, import of clients’ address book, automation of import/export into/from the application, etc.

Asseco SEE at Technobank 2012

Asseco SEE, one of the largest IT industry players in the SEE region in terms of sales of proprietary software and services, participated as General Partner at Technobank 2012 conference held on 3-4th April in Belgrade, Serbia. At the official opening, Mr. Piotr Jelenski, Group CEO of Asseco South Eastern Europe, delivered presentation regarding innovation and growth perspectives in SEE based on Asseco SEE experience.

During two days of program, representatives from Asseco SEE presented the latest trends in mobile payment, cooperation for ultimate cash efficiencies, loyalty4all, e-commerce (3D secure) for banks and internet merchants, ATM&POS outsourcing and Internet banking version 2.0.

In the exhibition section, Asseco SEE had a booth segmented in three units:
In order to present the latest technologies of non-cash payments, Asseco SEE had set up a Gift Shop simulating the real merchant place. Visitors had the opportunity to get familiar with live usage of the latest technologies for non-cash payments transactions like: mPayment application based, mPayment SMS based, mPayment NFC based, contactless card and Loyalty program. All this services were integrated with traditional Cash Register.

Cash efficient Bank Branch was the second segment of our booth. Asseco SEE was simulating a Bank branch with 3 entities inside, all automated:

Self-service zone providing numerous services like: Cash withdrawal, currency exchange, on line deposit, off-line deposit, bill payments bill presentment, electronic service sale (top up and internet), on line ticket sale, statement, print, etc.
Front office with Automated teller safe for fast and secure cash deposits, dispensing and recycling
Back office counters system for banknote processing (counting, fitness sorting, denomination sorting…)

And finally, visitors were invited to sit and relax at our Asseco SEE Café and enjoy while doing simulation of e-shopping through our web application from our demo store.

Banca Intesa and Asseco SEE Establish First Self-Service Branch in Serbia

Banca Intesa a.d. Beograd and Asseco SEE have established the first selfservice branch in Serbia. In this undertaking, Asseco SEE in Serbia has developed the complete solution and provided equipment.

Milos Nedeljkovic, Head of Payment Card sand direct channels department, Banca Intesa a.d. Belgrade: ”We recognized this project as an opportunity for creating one more channel for Banca Intesa customers in Serbia. We are glad that we can continue providing the added value to our selfservice portfolio and most importantly, to our clients. I would like to point out that Banca Intesa will continue investments in this direction and I hope these solutions will become a standard with most of the members in Intesa SanPaolo Group."

The Self-Service Branch offers plenty of functionalities on several devices. Asseco SEE has equipped the branch with ATM Exchange office machine, which enables money exchange with no need for using credit cards (no authentication), accompanied with safes for deposit and offline money deposit for legal entities available 24/7.

Money deposit in night safes is an option which provides legal entities with an opportunity to have fast, easy and reliable consignation without queuing.

In addition, the Branch is equipped with high-end Kiosk terminals offering numerous benefits to the Bank's clients. Now, clients can view and print their account statements for each type of their credit cards (Master, Maestro, Credit, AmEx, etc.), pay their bills at the Kiosk terminal using blank or six predefined slips from service providers (Telekom, Utilities, Electricity, etc.), while information is generated from barcodes contained in these slips (for example, for cable operators, bills are generated from the Bank's database). Money transfers from one account to another are also available in this Self-Service Branch.

First ATM with Statement Printer in KBC Banka Beograd

In order to fulfil the newly imposed regulations, KBC Banka has implemented statement printing options on its ATM devices.

Asseco SEE has developed this solution which enables Bank's clients to receive monthly statement prints that have not been received through other channels already (delivered by post mail, etc.). When a client inserts the card, the statement printing begins. Currently, Asseco SEE is developing another option for clients to choose a month for which they wish statements to be printed.

“We are very glad to provide our clients with this easy and conviniet way to receive statement prints, so they can always have updated information about their accounts. Together with Asseco SEE, we are working on upgrading client satisfaction through projects like this”, said Maja Vezmar-Ristic, Director of Retail Banking, KBC banka Beograd.
