Implementation of def3000 in Meritum Bank ICB S.A.
Meritum Bank has made the next step on its way described in the strategy adopted last year. According to this plan, the new central computer system of def3000 has been implemented in the bank. Only 6 months and 4 days passed since the execution of the agreement to the first transaction. “The implementation of the new IT system is an important step in the development of a new bank, which Meritum is. The def3000 and sales applications developed by the bank create great opportunities for us, ones which will enable us to strengthen our position in the competitive market. What is important, owing to deep commitment of the team of professionals, the whole operation of implementation was conducted without trouble or delay.” says Joanna KrzyŜanowska, the Vice-President of Meritum Bank.

Meritum Bank ICB S.A., the former Bank Współpracy Europejskiej S.A., has conducted its activities in the Polish market since the middle of 1990. In November 2007, the investment fund of Innove/4 L.P., advised by Innova Capital, became the majority shareholder of the bank. In January 2009, the name of the bank was changed to Meritum Bank and its seat was moved from Wrocław to Gdańsk.
Meritum Bank offers universal banking products to average-wealthy individuals. It also provides services to small enterprises (up to PLN 10,000,000 of annual turnover) and sole traders. The bank’s portfolio includes a wide range of consumer financial products, e.g. innovative cash credits and consolidating loans as well as credit cards. In future, the bank's offer is going to include installment loans and mortgage loans.
